Program:

Please join the Central PA Chapter of IFMA along with our October 19 event host, Talen Energy, as they present an educational event informing you with up-to-date electricity and natural gas market information to help with your energy purchases along with a plant tour of Talen Energy’s Brunner Island facility in York, PA.

Talen Energy won the Outstanding Program Award from the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) Lehigh Valley Chapter during the IFMA Lehigh Valley Chapter Holiday Social on December 14, 2014. On February 20, 2014, Talen Energy presented Minimizing Energy Supply Costs & Risks, how to take advantage of the restructured competitive markets and to help improve your bottom line through both short and long term energy purchasing strategies. The criteria for the award was the content of the presentation and how that information is useful, relevant and impactful to the facility manager. Karen Miller, IFMA LV Secretary said, “The event was very well organized and best attended of all 2014 programs.” http://www.ifmalehighvalley.org/
