Fifth Annual Day on the Hill

Exclusive:            UPDATE:*** Tony Keane, President and CEO of IFMA will join us to discuss IFMA governance and the upcoming collaboration with RICS.  We know many of you have questions!    While this is a deviation from our Day on the Hill program, we will welcome Tony to clarify how the IFMA/RICS collaboration will impact your membership.

Program:

In November of 2016, the Joint State Government Commission published a report on leasing for Commonwealth of PA offices.    The report is the start of an evaluation of how the Commonwealth procures, manages and operates their facilities, and the sponsors of the resolution directing the report want IFMA’s help in drafting future legislation.   Learn from Charlie O’Neill, chief of staff for one of the report’s primary sponsors, Senator Vulakovich, on the goals of the proposed legislation and how IFMA can help by sharing our best practices for personnel training, leasing and maintenance.

Jeff Johnson, IFMA’s director of government affairs, will update us on many of the exciting ways IFMA is supporting legislation in DC to help Washington run more efficiently, and to help building owner’s with incentives to invest more in the management of their facilities.
